Northwestern Mutual Financial Financial Network - Evansville hosts Blood Drive
In February, Managing Director, Norm Miller invited the Indiana Blood Center to visit the office and hosted a blood drive. Financial representatives took turns visiting the mobile blood van to help the local community.

Indiana Blood Center (IBC) is the agency through which lifesaving blood and blood components are supplied to 46 member hospitals throughout central and southern Indiana. They provide vital assistance to modern medicine through other related services including specialized blood typing for organ transplants, viral marker testing, tissue banks, and the National Marrow Donor Program.

IBC is a community service agency fulfilling a constant demand from central and southern Indiana hospitals for blood and blood products. Its continuing operation pivots on volunteer donations of blood from members of the community it serves. IBC's expenses are met by fees charged to member hospitals for blood processing costs.

Community Events
Financial professionals enjoy sponsoring two families each year through the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, as they’ve done for the past four years.

At Christmas time, members of the Evansville office shop for and purchase clothing and toys for the children, wrapping and delivering the gifts.

The Evansville office also is proud to support the Evansville Race for the Cure of the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, sponsoring a team called the Warrick Country Relay for Life.

Northwestern Mutual Financial Network - Evansville also sponsored a table at the American Cancer Society annual gala celebration in 2005, and participated in the Multiple Sclerosis Walk in 2003.
